APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 08-413
Description
On May 27, 2008, the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 08-413, violated School Board Policy 5.32, Zero Tolerance and School Board Policy 5.322, Prohibition Against Use, Sale, or Possession of Alcohol or Drugs. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until May 30, 2009.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(i)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, and the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 08-413, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools be approved effective immediately for the entire 2008-2009 academic year.
